BOXING

Learn basic boxing techniques and movements while building lean muscle and burning fat. These classes will start with a warm up and will include cardio & strength circuits, shadow boxing, technique rounds on our heavy bags, mitt work from your trainer, and core work to finish up our almost 1000 calorie burning workout.

Kickboxing

This class is the perfect full body workout,  You’ll learn basic Kickboxing and Boxing techniques and combinations. These classes will start with a warm up and will include cardio & strength circuits, shadow boxing, technique rounds on our heavy bags, mitt work from your trainer, and core work to finish up our almost 1000 calorie burning workout.

Cross-Training

This is a (HIIT) high-intensity interval training formatted class. HIIT uses a system of work-hard-then-recovery intervals, alternating between high intensity workouts with short resting periods.  Studies have shown that 15 mins of interval training is equivalent to running on a treamill for 1full hour. The circuits will include workouts like sprints, kettlebell swings, ball slams, weight training, and other cardiovascular training techniques that will be taught and monitored by the Coaches to avoid any injuries.

ADVANCED MEMBERSHIP

BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU (BJJ) –

BASIC PROGRAM/ALL LEVELS CLASSES 

The focal point of the beginner class is entirely on technique. The class focuses on learning and applying fundamental techniques of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Students practice various techniques using a traditional Gi, also known as a kimono. Students learn and practice submissions, escapes, positioning and self defense. The fundamentals class is directed not only for the beginner but also for the more advanced students to sharpen basic techniques. When a student joins the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu program, he/she is monitored by the instructors and is informed when ready to advance. We require this because there are core techniques that are essential to learn before progress in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is possible. These are the techniques that are emphasized in the basic classes.

ADVANCED BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU

This class is designed for students interested in advanced techniques for competition and self-defense. Students learn and practice advanced sweeps, submissions, escapes and counters, how to reverse an attacker and how to force their opponent into submission. Detailed instruction in technique, specific drilling, and position advancement are the main focus of this class. Competition is encouraged, but not required.

MUAY THAI

Learn and develop Muay Thai kickboxing fundamentals and techniques through partner drilling and padwork. Teeps, checks, clinches, kicks, elbows, punches, and knees are some techniques that will be covered and drilled in order to learn the proper balance and mechanics of the techniques.
 

ADVANCED BOXING

Teaching you how to take all of the techniques you have learned to throw on the heavy bag and you will now drill the punches and combinations on a partner. You will learn offensive and defensive techniques while becoming an all around better athlete with timing, speed and agility, cardio, strength, and balance. This class will include controlled and monitored sparring sessions.
